When
migrated Garhwalis returned for settling in their ancestor village after
spending their lives in government service, they also bring crookedness, arrogances,
notoriousness and desires along with them. When discharged Jamadar, discharged
Havldar or police constable and discharged clerk of court returned the village
Garjiya the social equation the village change drastically. However, times came
that military retired Jamadar understands the reality and one day he decides to
take appropriate action. However, the question is whether other two would
respond?
The story is having humor
and satire. Joshi uses simple style in telling the tale. Joshi is successful in
creating the new social equation in contemporary rural Garhwal. Joshi uses contemporary Garhwali phrases in
the story.
