      ‘Marjad’ has three aspects. First the folk games being played by teen aged girls as putting plant ornaments Nath and Bulak. There is very effective search by fiction writer about the worries of a father for his daughter’s marriage. Third aspect of story is protection of village pride by a girl. These three aspects or events are part of story and compel the readers to finish the story at one sitting. The story writer pays attention of character building and portraying the emotion that language style takes back seat.
