Hilans accelerated Contemporary Garhwali Story Literature Development
Due to financial crisis Garhwali magazines as Maiti, Raibar closed own. The Hindi weeklies or periodicals of Garhwal used to pay more attention on Garhwali poetries. Hilans magazine played a great role in Garhwali story literature developing by paying full attention. Many modern Garhwali story writers as Kali Prasad Ghildiyal, Puran pant Pathik, Kusum Nautiyal, Bhishma Kukreti, Jabar Singh Kaintura; Mohan Dhoundiyal came in lime light due to Hilans. Hilans encouraged established Garhwali literature creators as Abodh Bandhu Bahuguna, Dr. Mahaveer Prasad Gairola, Balendu Badola, Sudama Prasad Premi, and Durga Prasad Ghildiyal to publish their stories in Hilans.
Nobody can forget the contribution of Hilans in accelerating Garhwali story literature development.
