  There are forty stories in ‘‘Katha Kumud’ by Bahuguna.

  Jyundar is story of struggle of a poor widow. She has to struggle against all odds for her survival. There is no food for her but she is forced to pay gift or food to government servant. She does not have cereal but it is important that she feeds the government servant. She offers him curd.
