    Patan story by Bahuguna opens many aspects of differences between upper caste and Harijan cast. The story attacks on dark side of untouchability too.

                Sushila finds that her husband is Harijan after the marriage. Her parents are shocked that their family is fallen from upper crest to the lowest level

               The story finds the inner part of emotion when a human finds that the class creation and acts of class differentiation is the call of situation and not the call of humanity.
