Sanjog: A Garhwali Story about Marriage are Made in heaven

(Review of Garhwali story collection ‘Banj ki Peed’ (1987) by Mohan Lal Negi)

                 ‘Sanjog’ story of story collection ‘Banj ki Peed’ by Negi is written on the style of folk style where myth is part and partial of the story.

             Chand and Tara love each other. They are getting married but an devilish person of village does not like the idea and makes hurdle for the marriage. Now the conflict starts for the readers whether Chand and Tara would get married or not or devil would win over.

   The story is in narration style and the writer effectively plays with words.
