Mohan Lal Negi claims in his
introductory note about his story collection“Banj ka Peed’ that he is using
newer technique in Garhwali story world through these stories. Dr Anil Dabral endorses
that the story is having new story writing technique in Garhwali. The story is about bus travel and there is
suffocation due to crowd of labor workers enter into bus. Many people feel
irritation due to bad smell of perspiring workers. There is a person travelling
in very bad condition and need immediate hospitalization.
The story is in narrative form (Vyas
Shaili), opens many areas of psychology and portrays images of people and
outside jungle, hills etc too. The story
is said in very sharp satirical genre. The story is having the idea of
socialism. The story telling technique, characterization of characters and
ending the story is remarkable in Khabesh.
Khabesh types of story in Garhwali took the Garhwali story world
into contemporary story world.
