Bhishma Kukreti
Ghat is one of the stories of story
collection ‘Burans ka peed’ by Mohan Lal Negi published in 1987.
The story is about
sadness by death of son. The son is ill and father does everything to save the
life of son. The person is poor and there are no medical facilities in the
village. The man blames for his son death to other person that he performed ‘Ghat
(a ritual to harm others).
The story deals the
struggle of poor person for saving his ailing son and many beliefs of village
life.
