One day, a person visited another village. In night, he took meal and slept there. In night, a Dain (female mischievous sprite, witch) started measuring his body by cotton tag. The person woke up. He remembered his family deity. The family deity entered into his body and he started dancing vibrantly. The witch got afraid and ran away from there forever. This is the matter and this is the story.
रवाईं गढ़वाल क्षेत्र की एक लोक कथा
एक मनस्यारो एक गाँव नसी रै। रात खाब खाणी अर सुति रै। रात डैण धागनापण लागे वहीं पर। तब रौ स्यु उजी सातर से , वही पर आपणो इष्ट नाची पड़ीअर डैण नठि रै दूर। तब न ऐ डैण। एति कथा एति बात।
