(Review of a Garhwali Drama ‘Na Theed main Tain’ by Nitya Nand Maithani)

It is a common fact that every person desires
for a son or sons for his heir. The theme of ‘Na Theed main Tain’ by Nitya Nand Maithani is about desire of a son
and having daughters. Nannumal wishes for a son and in this process his wife
delivers five daughters. Now the children fell ignored from parent side and the
father fells torture. Neither parents nor children are comfortable from the
situation.

Maithani’s dialogues are the life line for the dram and its speed.
