                            बण बक्या 

              (रवाईं गढ़वाल क्षेत्र की लोक कथा)

                   He spread the news that his son has become a true future teller (Bakya). At the same time there was theft in the King Palace. The spies could not find the thief. People informed to the king that there was a future teller that would find the thief.

               The king sent his men to get the future in the palace. The King employees took the future teller in the palace. The court servants served the future teller with warm and full of comforts. The so called future teller was in distress and torturous condition. He was sure of his punishment from the king for his falsehood. He was feeling the soft bed as the spike bed.  He could not sleep for a single moment. Repeatedly, he was going out and coming in his room.

 He was thinking in his mind,” Now bear the consequences of being False Future Teller.”
