          Young poet Ashini Gaur ) born in 1987) published his first Garhwali poetry Collection ‘Chaumasi Haryali’ in 2014. Famous Indian singer and lyrist Narendra Singh Negi appreciated the poems of Ashwini loudly.

      There are 41 Garhwali poems by Ashwini Gaur in the present collection.

  The subjects of the collection are of divergent nature. There are different topics, different questions and different moods in ‘Chaumasi Haryali’. The poetry subjects are as  spirituality -philosophy ( Jay Shri Khali Bhairav, Afu tain Sikh ni mangi main); Love rapture (Shringar ras0 specially Prativatsalya or love for parents and aged humans (  Myari bwe, Teri Pida Kain Pchhyan man ); Nature and ecology (Pandhyaru, Bijalibhumi …, Gad ka Dhungu, ) ; Social and Cultural changes ( Ab ni Hainsadu Basant Mera gaunma; Migration and its effects ( Pahadai Khairi, Harchi gain ); Satire (Uttarakhandai ladai, chunau ar Vikas ); person illustration (Yashodhar Benjwal, Halya); social relationship (Jyu Halku hwe Jand) and so on.

        The poems are in rhymes and free too. The poems are with full of emotions and readers enjoy the same.

   The poet uses various symbols as metaphors, figure of speeches, similes for creating following major imageries-

     Ashwini Gaur uses common phrases for creating all types of imageries.

 Mostly his poems are of love Raptures .

          Legendary singer Narendra Singh Negi and Poet and story teller Om prakash Semwal rightly stated that Ashwini has tremendous potentiality for establishing him one of the finest poets of Garhwali literature.
