        ‘Mayali Bhaun’ is first Garhwali lyric collection by multitalented creative Yatendra Gaur . There are 51 Lyric poems in ‘Mayali Bhaun’.  Before publishing Garhwali lyric collection, Yatendra Gaur already released a audio cassette ‘

                The present lyric collection has varieties of lyrics as spiritual poems as Sarswati Vandan, Mahabgarh prayer; praise for Garhwal (Garhbhumi, Hamaru Garhwal, Meru Himwant, Malni ); love and pain ( Khairi ye man ki, Smalaun ); geographical and seasonal images (Malnai, Dandyun Baugadi Thandi hava, Barkyalu Chaumas); patriotic or chivalry poems (Ajadi garh Sipai, ); women issues ( Padu ki bala Shakuntala); satire and other burning issues in Garhwal and India.  

        There mostly all raptures as love, pathos, chivalry, surprise, humor, spirituality, children love etc. 

     Yatendra uses conventional symbols and figures of speeches but don’t avoid using new symbols for creating images. Yatendra Gaur uses mixed Garhwali having English, Urdu and Hindi words in his verses. His dialects are of Ajmer- Dhangu (Ganga Salan) dialects but easily understandable by all. 

  There are various types of Chand in the lyrics and are melodious. 

The critics as Dr N.K. Dhoundiyal and Dr. Jagdamba Kotnala, great singer  Narendra Singh Negi, Gazal maker Jagmohan Bisht and readers appreciated lyrics and efforts by Yatendra Gaur.
