   The students of Sanskrit pathshala , Haridwar closed down the school and led a procession in support of Quit India Movement. Indian police solders denied lathi charge on them. Government called army from Dehradun for suppressing quit India movement in Haridwar. Army fired guns at Har ki paidi and there was blood shed there. Army insulted women in Haridwar for suppressing quit India Movement in Haridwar.  Army caught many students. Students burnt post office , police station . People burnt Kankhal post office.  Police and civil guards misbehaved with women and others.  People were distributing pamphlets for activating the activists. Students and teachers took part in distributing pamphlets for Quit India Movement
