               Quit India Movement in Gujru Region

     In August 1942, Patwaris reached Gujru for catching Movement activists with warrants along with Mal Gujar. However super active activists as Man Singh Rawat, Shesh Ram Pokhariyal went underground and started promoting freed fight awareness  Sald region. By their strong acts, Patwaris were worried for protecting their records. Patwaris requested higher officials for deputing army in Sald.

          ‘Bagawat ke do Mahine ‘Pamphlets Distribution in Garhwal

      There was massive distribution of Bagawat ke Do Mahine’ pamphlets in Garhwal in October 1942. In the pamphlet, there was appeal for farmers not to pay land taxes. There was cautin and suggestons for government servants for them not applying suppressive methods against freedom fighters.

There was appeal for freedom fighters not to lose hearts.
