The great Indian satirist Puran Pant Pathik is master of Garhwali phrases in attacking wrong happenings, society’s foe, anti social norms, cracks on ethical means. Great satirist Pant is one of the experts in creating irony, wit, sarcasm, mockery, derision, disdain, cynicism, and scorn against double standards, wrongs. Politicians are best target for great Indian satirist Puran Pant. The satires, wits, ironies of great Indian satirist Pant against corrupt, careless, selfish politicians are as comparable beating physically or are as good as humiliating in front of crowd.
The satire ‘Neta Ji ko Jabab’(1998) by great Indian satirist Pathik is one of the example of irony, wit, sarcasm, mockery, derision, disdain, cynicism, and scorn satirizing politicians by him. In this satire, great satirist Pant accuses sarcastically the indifferent or uncaring attitude of politicians for their voters or citizens. The satire is in the form of answering letter from a politician to his voters. The politician states that he is not obliged by voters for his political growth because his voters voted him because he provided them liquor and money.
