             Modern Garhwali fiction world is lucky for story writers taking social causes in their stories. Dr Asha Rawat took tow social issues. Both themes of social issues are interwoven by Dr. Asha.  The story is about a girl studying in city goes to her native village for religious ritual and she finds many wrong happenings in twenty first century.

 First she takes the issue of animal sacrifice in religious ritual. Second issue is about untouchabilty in the village. Dr Rawat takes the story to the era of when Harijans were not allowed to take their brides or grooms through Pinnas /Dola/Palki

The story writer successfully builds the characters and able to provoke the readers to think about social issues. However, involving two major issues, the story writer could not do justice for her story.

 The writer uses simple language to understand and dialogues help in characterization or developing story.
