                Garhwali story   ‘Mai Ghaur Chhodiawa’ By Vinod Sirola is about love for homeland by a migrated woman.  After marriage, she was with her in laws and happily living in village. One day, she disobeyed the wishes of in laws and the conflict started in family. She has to come to Delhi with her husband who is working in a hotel in Delhi. For, five years, she did not remember village. However, when she sees ‘Gahath’ , she started feeling to fly to her village (in law village). Her husband Prem Datt refuses to send her village. Story end makes happy and proud the Garhwali readers.

      The story is compelling for reading full story. Mostly, the conflicts in the story are realistic (commonly found).  

             Vinod uses figure of speeches (upma Alankar) abundantly specially for depicting geographical nature.

'जून' धार का पिछ्नै हैंसण लगी गे छै किलैकी वीं पता छौ कि लडै भोळ फिर होण . जूनअब जादा तेज हैंसण लगि गे छै

 Many Hindi words used in this story do not suit in Garhwali language story.
