GERMAN :  Ich schreibe einen Brief. Haben Sie eine Feder.

ENGLISH  :   I am writting a letter. Have you a  pen ?

Roman Garhwali :  Mi ek chithi lyakhnu chhoun.  Tumam ek kalam (Pen) holi.गढ़वाली :  मि एक चिठ्ठी ल्याख्णु छौं . तुम म एक कलम होली .

Haben Sie einen Bleistift ? Nehmen Sie die Feder.

Have you a pencil ? Take the pen.

Tumam pesil holi ? kalam (pen) le lyawa .

तुम म पेन्सिल होली ? कलम तै ले ल्यावा.

Nehmen Sie den Bleistift. Haben Sie einen Bogen Briefpapier ?

Take the pencil. Have you a sheet of notepaper ?

Pensil le lyawa. Kya tumam ek lyakhna ku kagaj whalu ?

पेन्सिल ले ल्यावा. क्या तुम म एक ल्यखना कु कागज व्हालू ?

Stecken Sie den Brief in den Umschlag .

Put the letter into the envelop.

Chithi tai lifa-f m dhairi dyawa.

चिठ्ठी तै लिफाफु मा धैरी दयावा.

Das ist ein Baum. Ich sehe einen Baum

That is a tree. I see a tree.

Wu ek daalu cha. Mi ek daalu dyakhnoo chhoun.

वू एक डालू च. मि एक डालू द्यखनू छौं .

Das ist eine Kirche. Ich sehe eine Kirche.

That is a church. I see a church.

Wu ek Church ch. Mi ek Charch dyakhunu chhoun.

वू एक चर्च च. मि एक चर्च द्यख्णु छौं.

Da kommt ein Kind. Ich hore ein Kind.

There comes a child. I hear a child.

Afarak ek chhotu nounu cha. Mi nouna ki baach sunanoo chhoun.

अफारख एक छोटु नौनु च. मि नौना की बाच सुण णों  छौं.

Dieser Stuhl ist besser als jener.

This chair is better than that one.

Ya kursi wee chule bhali cha.

या कुर्सी वी चूले भलि च.

Nehmen Sie diesen, nicht jenen.

Take this one, not that one.

Ye thai le lyawa, we tai na .

ए थै ले ल्यावा ,वे तै ना.

Ich nehme diesen Maantel, diesen Hut, dieses Kleid und diese Schuhe.

I am taking this overcoat, this hat,this dress and these shoes.

Mi ye kote , ye twapla, yun kapdoo ar woon  jutoon thai li janoo chhoun.

मि ए कोट, ए ट्वपला,यूँ कपडू , अर वूं जुतूं तै लि जाणू छौं.   

Sie haben meinen Stuhl, warum nehmen Sie nieht Ihren ?

You have my chair, why  don't you take yours ?

Tum ma meri kursi cha, tum apadi kilai ni li janda ?

तुम मा मेरी कुर्सी च, तुम अपड़ी किलै नि लि जांदा ?

Bitte, stecken Sie Ihren Regenschirm und seinen Stock in den Schirmstander.

Please put your umbrella and his walking stick in the umbrella stand.

Kripa kairiki tumaru chhatuloo ar weku latha khoonti ma tanki dyawa.

कृपा कैरि की तुमारु छतुलू अर वेकु लता खूँटी मा टांकि   दयावा. 

Es ist hier ein Hund. Wir haben einen Hund.

There is a dog here. We have a dog.

yakh ek kukar cha. Hamaru ek kukar cha.

यख एक कुकर च. हमरू एक कुकर च.
