  Om Badhani is multitalented Garhwali creative.  

             Om Badhani is born in 1974, in Bari Mani, Dichli Gamari, Chinyasaur, Uttarkashi, Garhwal. Om Badhani passed M.Sc. (Physics), MA (Hindi and Education), and B.Ed. Om Badhani is diploma holder in Folk Music of Uttarakhand, Sangeet Prabhakar (Vocal) and Senior Tabla Vadan.

      Om Badhani is educationist by profession.

Om Badhani wrote a couple of folk musical dramas and staged them too. Critics and audience appreciated his dramas very much.

Om Badhani is lyricist, poet, playwright and prose writer. Om Badhani released many Garhwali music albums in Garhwali language and Om Badhani has large followers for his lyrics.

 Critics and literature creative as Liladhar Jaguri , Bhishma Kukreti , Narendra Singh Negi , Madan Duklan, Shnati Prakash Jigyasu, Devendra Joshi, Lokesh, Om Prakash Semwal appreciated the subject and style of poems by Om Badhani.

    The poems by  Badhani are of prose style but there is marvelous flow in such poetries. The poet is victorious in using imagery and phrases. The tone of poetries makes poems attractive too. Badhani belongs to Uttarkashi. However, Badhani tries his best to use words and dialects of standard Garhwali.

फरकणा छौं 

कबि ये हाड़ कबि  वे हाड़ 

फंचु बदलणा छौं /कबि ये कांध कबि वे कांध 

हमथैं बि कन नि मिलदि /द्वी गज जमीन 

अगर नि कट्यां हूंद /हमरा अपण जलुड़ अफी- अफी   

बदलणा छौं मूसु सी 

कबि ये दुलण कबि वे दुलण 

छुड़ी छीं स्वर्ग सी /सुंदर हिंवळी डांडि  -कांठि  

कन नि मिलदि हमथैं बि /थाह थाति कि छाती कि 

अगर नि बण्यां हूंदा हम बडु आदिम 

खुट्टा अळगाकि अफी -अफी 

फुंडु धुळयां छन 

चिर्यां झुल्ला सी बूड -बुड्या 

पिछनै सरकयलीं 

जूठ्ठा भांडा सी आबत -असना   

हमर मुंडम बि 

कन नि हूँदु क्वी हथ 

अगर नि मुंड्यां हूंदा 

हमरा अपणा मुंड  अफी -अफी
