Anoop Rawat is one of the promising young Garhwali poets interested in taking Garhwali poetry on its zenith.
Anoop knows that in modern time, internet is one the most promising medium for promoting small population spoken language as Garhwali. That is the reason he started his own blog (Meru Mulk Meru Pran iamrawatji.blogspot.in).
Anoop Rawat was born in Gween Malla, Khatli, Beeronkhal of Pauri Garhwal in 1989. Anoop Rawat is post graduate and interested in digital media.
Humanity , Social reforms and Garhwal are major concerns for young Garhwali poet Anoop. He discusses Chakbandi , foeticide, development and many more subjects as love, philosophy, spirituality, patriotism.
हे गितांग दिदा जरा चकबंदी कु गीत लगे दे poem shows his concern for social and agriculture reforms in Garhwal hills.

तीलू, रामी, गौरा ह्वेनी बड़ी-२ नारी.जौन करी काम यनु दुनिया दे तारी..छाया सभ्या यु भी रे मनखी नारी जात...क्या चा वींकु दोष ज्वा ह्व़े व बेटी जात.कुछ त डेर वे बिधाता से राखी ले मनख्यात..
Anoop also creates humor and satire in his Garhwali poetry as under –
उन त मि
नौन्युं देखि
भारी सरमांदू छौं
पर कबि फेसबुक मा
जरा सि चैट कै देंदु
Anoop Rawat uses lyrics, poems and Ghzals for his illustration.
It is clearly visible effects of Salani Garhwali dialects in poems by Anoop Rawat.
Anoop uses old Garhwali phrases (खैरी खांदा खांदा ) and new phrases (फूल माला रिबन कटे उद्घाटन ह्वे गे) too for illustrating his poems .
There are mostly all types of images in the poems by Anoop. His uses of symbols make perfect images.
Poetry critic Dr. Manjula Dhoundiyal claims that Anoop has tremendous potentiality for Garhwali poetry world.
