     The book provides pleasure in reading. The biographies also fulfill two objectives -the readers get pleasure in learning about the person and readers feel pleasure in act of reading too. The treatment given by Dr Dhoundiyal is lucid the subject of biographies are not dry and disinterested for readers. The biographies also accomplish one of two objectives for readers that the biography either inspires or reader feels that he/she is meeting the person in person. The world class biographer Dr Nand Kishor Dhoundiyal had been successful in making complex subject very simple for every reader which shows the great capability of Dr Dhoundiyal as effective presenter.
        Garhwali Soldiers killed in Operation Vijay Kargil battle
   Dr Dhoundiyal provides the list of Garhwali soldiers killed in Kargil battle in 1999. The readers should note that 120 Garhwali soldiers were killed out of total 500 soldiers killed in the said operation Vijay.

                       Dr Dhoundiyal is successful in making the life of person into story telling form that readers enjoy the subject.  The specialty of each biography is that if Dr Nand Kishor Dhoundiyal knows them in person. Definitely, book is proof that Dr Dhoundiyal has sound knowledge of historical, cultural, social, periodical changes, and geographical aspects of Garhwal.   Dr Dhoundiyal has been victorious in developing an understanding of the places, times, events, and other people when the person lived. GERMAN :  Um acht Uhr esse ich Fruhstuck. Ich fruhstucke im Esszimmer.
ENGLISH  :  At eight o'clock I eat breakfast.  I breakfast in the dining room.
ROMAN (GARHWALI ) : Mi aath baji nashta karundu. Mi nashta khana ka kamra ma karundu.
गढ़वाली : मि आठ बजी नाश्ता करंदु. मि नाश्ता खाणा का कमरा मा करंदु.

Um halb neun gehe ich von Hause fort.  Um neun Uhr komme ich im Buro an.
At half past eight I leave home.  At nine o'clock I arrive at the office.
Saade aath baji me ghour chhodi deendu. Nou baji me office paunchi jandu.
साड़े आठ बजि मि  घौर छोड़ी दींदु. नौ बजि में ऑफिस पौंछि जांदू.


Ich arbeite von neun bis eins.  Um ein Uhr habe ich eine Stunde Mittagspause.
I work from nine to one.  At one o'clock I have one hour's lunch break.
Mi nau baji bati ek baji tak kam karandu. Ek baji myaru ek ghanta ku khana ki chhuti raind..
मि नौ बजि बटी एक बजि तक कम करंदु . एक बजि म्यारु एक घंटा कु खाणा की छुटि रैंद. 

Ich gehe in ein Restaurant, zu Mittag zu essen. Um zwei :Uhr komme ich ins Buro zuruck.
I go to restaurant, to eat lunch. At two o'clock I come back to the office.
Me khana khanu khani Restorant ma jaandu. Dwee baji mi waapas office ayee jandu.
मि खाणा खाणु  खुणी रेस्टोरेंट मा जांदू . द्वी बजी मि वापस ऑफिस ऐ जांदू .   


Ich arbeite dann noch dreieinhalb Stunden bis halb sechs.
Then I work for another three and a half  hours until half past five.
We ka bad mi saadi teen ghanta kaam kardu, jab tak ki saadi paanch ni baji jaandi.
वे का बाद मि साडी तीन घंटा काम करुदु, ज़ब तक की साडी - पाँच नि बजी जांदी.

Dann gehe ich nach Hause,  zum Abendesse.
Then I go home for supper.
Tab mi byakhunda ku khana khan ku ghour jaandu.
तब मि ब्यखुन्दा कु खाणा खाण कु घौर जांदू.  
Abends gehe ich ins Theater, ins Kino.
In the evening I go to the theatre, to the cinema.
Byakhunda me sanima hall ma sanima dyakhna jaandu.
ब्याखुन्दा मि सनीमा हाल मा सनीमा देखणा जांदू.
Oft bleibe ich abends zu Hause und hore Radio oder lese ein Buch.
Often I stay at home in the evening and listen to the radio or read book.
Jyadatar mi byakhunda ghour hi raindu ar redoo sudundu ya kitab bachundu.
ज्यादातर मि ब्यखुन्दा घौर ही रैंदु अर रेडू सुणदु  या किताब बचंदु .
Ich gehe gewohnlich um elf Uhr zu Bett, aber mein Vater geht viel spater zu Bett
und liest oder schreibt oft bis ein :Uhr nachts.
I usually go to the bed at eleven o'clock, but my father goes much later to the bed
 and  often reads or writes ;until one o'clock at night.
Mi jyada  kaiki   gyrah baji seena khuni jaandu par myara Bubaa ji  bhaut baad ,
ek baji tak padna ya lyakhna randi
मि ज्यादा कैकी ग्यारह बजी सीणा खुणि  जांदू पर म्यारा बुबा जी भौत बाद , एक बजी तक पड़णा या ल्यखणा रंदी .

Er braucht nicht viel Schlaf. Ich schlafe acht Stunden, von elf bis sieben.
He does not need much sleep. I sleep eight hours, from eleven to seven.
Woontai jyada nind ni andi. Mi aath ghanta seendu, gyara baji bati ki saat baji tak. 
वूं तै ज्यादा नींद नि आंदी .  मि आठ घंटा सींदु, ग्यारह बजी बटी की सात बजी तक.

ज्यादातर मि ब्यखुन्दा घौर ही रैंदु अर रेडू सुणदु  या किताब बचंदु 
Ich gehe gewohnlich um elf Uhr zu Bett, aber mein Vater geht viel spater zu Bett
und liest oder schreibt oft bis ein :Uhr nachts.
I usually go to the bed at eleven o'clock, but my father goes much later to the bed
 and  often reads or writes ;until one o'clock at night.
Mi jyada  kaiki   gyrah baji seena khuni jaandu par myara Bubaa ji  bhaut baad , 
ek baji tak padna ya lyakhna randi 
मि ज्यादा कैकी ग्यारह बजी सीणा खुणि  जांदू पर म्यारा बुबा जी भौत बाद , एक बजी तक पड़णा या ल्यखणा रंदी .

Er braucht nicht viel Schlaf. Ich schlafe acht Stunden, von elf bis sieben.
He does not need much sleep. I sleep eight hours, from eleven to seven.
Woontai jyada nind ni andi. Mi aath ghanta seendu, gyara baji bati ki saat baji tak.  
वूं तै ज्यादा नींद नि आंदी .  मि आठ घंटा सींदु, ग्यारह बजी बटी की सात बजी तक.
